Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for paid plans and purchases on the OnlyCommon service (the "Service") provided by Better Me SRL ("OnlyCommon", "we", "us"). It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms of Service.

OnlyCommon is a business service billed by usage, measured in "lines."

1. Refund window

You may request a refund within 14 days of the date of your purchase. This 14-day window applies to subscription payments and to one-time line pack purchases. Refund requests made within this window are honored as described below.

The free tier is provided at no charge, so no payment is taken and no refund applies. You can try the Service on the free tier before purchasing.

2. Subscriptions

  • Paid subscriptions provide a recurring allocation of lines for each billing period (monthly or yearly) and renew automatically until cancelled.
  • You may request a refund of a subscription payment within 14 days of the date of that payment.
  • You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you keep access to the Service and your remaining lines for that period, and you will not be charged for the following period.
  • Unused subscription lines do not roll over between periods.

3. Line packs (one-time purchases)

  • Line packs are one-time purchases of a fixed number of lines that are made available to your account immediately and are valid for a limited period (as stated at the time of purchase, generally three months).
  • You may request a refund of a line pack purchase within 14 days of the date of purchase.

4. Upgrades, downgrades, and changes

  • Upgrades may take effect immediately and may be charged on a prorated basis.
  • Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.

Any payment made for an upgrade, downgrade, or change may be refunded within 14 days of that payment.

5. Billing errors and duplicate charges

If you believe you have been charged in error — for example, a duplicate charge or an obvious billing mistake — contact us at contact@onlycommon.com within 5 days of the charge. If we confirm an error, we will correct it and refund the incorrect amount.

6. Additional discretionary refunds

Beyond the 14-day refund window described above, we may, at our sole discretion, provide a refund, discount, or credit in individual cases (for example, in the event of a significant, prolonged service failure attributable to us). Providing a refund in one instance does not obligate us to provide one in another.

7. How refunds are processed

Payments for the Service are processed by a third-party payment provider that may act as the merchant of record for your purchase. Where a refund is approved:

  • it is generally issued to the original payment method;
  • it may be processed by or through our payment provider in accordance with its procedures;
  • the amount refunded relates to the price paid; any applicable taxes are handled in accordance with the payment provider's process; and
  • it may take a number of business days to appear, depending on your payment method and provider.

8. Your statutory rights

Nothing in this Policy limits any non-waivable rights you may have under mandatory consumer-protection or other applicable law. Where such law gives you a right to a refund that exceeds what this Policy provides, that law prevails. The Service is intended for business use; some consumer-specific rights may not apply.

9. How to request a refund

To request a refund or raise a billing question, contact us at contact@onlycommon.com with your account details and the reason for your request. Please reach out before initiating a chargeback so we can resolve the issue directly.

10. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute, we may suspend the affected account while the dispute is investigated. We reserve the right to contest chargebacks we believe are unwarranted, including by providing records of the purchase and use of the Service.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes apply to purchases made after the updated Policy takes effect. We will post the updated Policy with a new effective date.
